One major concern about cement is the carcinogenic potential which varies for all the manufacturers. Due to these traces cement can cause harms when inhaled.

The cement MSDS need to be in possession of every person that comes in contact with it in any way. The MSDS may vary for different companies but the major areas addressed remain the same. The cement MSDS is not very helping when seeking help regarding the possible hazardous affects to health of a person. This is because the cement MSDS mostly covers this topic in a, not more than two line, paragraph claiming that the health damages can only be determined after considering the exposure time. Therefore the cement MSDS contain a detailed section on the health friendly exposure limits and safety measures that must be taken.

Despite of cement being a stable product the cement MSDS never advise the reader to avoid necessary precautions while handling them. The cement MSDS gives clear instructions as to how and under which conditions the product should be used. The cement MSDS not only complies with all the legal requirements but it is also very helpful as it makes sure that a person is well informed about the product thus reducing chances of any accident.
